And You Thought It Was All In My Head!

I know some people don't believe in signs. And that's fair. I'm not trying to change your mind.

But ...

You know how I wrote that long post yesterday about taking on a new direction? I mentioned how I felt that I've seen inspirational cues at every turn, beckoning me on to a new adventure. And I even acknowledged that it all may be in my head.

Well, guess what? It is. And it isn't.

For my annual birthday pampering, I took a trip to the mall. Mainly for window shopping, but also to stock up on hair accessories at Claire's. (Yes. I'm in my 30s and I shop at Claire's. Don't judge me.)

While there, I started to get a headache, but didn't want to take any aspirin on an empty stomach. So I stopped by the food court to grab a bite. Deciding on a local Chinese food chain, I ordered a quick dish and a fortune cookie came with it. I didn't open it at the time because I wanted to get back to shopping.

Plus, it's a fortune cookie. It's no big deal, right?

After I get home and put my feet up, I decide to open the cookie. Guess what the fortune said?

Dude? And you thought it was all in my head!
